Delaware Humane Association Opens New Satellite Location in Glen Mills, PA

Cats Available for Adoption at PetSmart in Concordville Town Centre Starting February 1st

WILMINGTON, DE, January 28, 2020 – Delaware Humane Association (DHA), an animal welfare organization with adoption centers in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach, is getting ready to open up their eighth satellite location at PetSmart in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. DHA’s mission is to make friends for life by connecting people with animals – and they are looking forward to branching out beyond the border of Delaware to help even more animals find their forever homes.

In 2019 alone, DHA was able to help 2062 cats and dogs find homes — a 10% increase from the year prior. Patrick Carroll, Executive Director of DHA says, “DHA is very excited to move into the adoption space at PetSmart Glen Mills, and continue the good work of Andy’s Friends.  We have always had adopters, volunteers, and supporters in the Glen Mills and southeastern Pennsylvania area who join us in furthering our mission.  This is a tremendous opportunity to strengthen and expand those relationships.  We look forward to many years of a great partnership with the management and staff at the store.”

DHA’s new satellite location will officially open for cat and kitten adoptions on Saturday, February 1st, 2020. The off-site adoptions will be located at PetSmart in the Concordville Town Centre at 800 Hatton Drive, Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. Visit the location from 11am-2pm on the day of the opening to visit with adoptable cats plus some of DHA’s adoptable dogs, learn more about DHA, and enter to win raffle prizes! Following February 1st, the satellite location operating hours will be the same as the store hours.

Thanks to the support from many volunteers, adopters, and donors, DHA is thrilled to open their new satellite location. To contribute to DHA’s growth, please visit https://delawarehumane.org/give.
